A Lone Bird Struggles
to Save A Planet
Since age 10 I’ve felt the constant anguish of seeing the Earth I love slowly destroyed. I also feel the daily pain of senseless human violence. I know that as one individual I can’t do much about it, but I feel that I must try.
I’m a middle aged male with a family and job. I could have gone through life in an ignorant bliss. But something caused me to awaken. At a young age something caused me to start asking questions, and when I started questioning EVERYTHING I could not stop. I just kept asking, reading, studying, and digging deeper into the mysteries of life.
After years of research, what I discovered shook my very core. I learned that religion, corporations, and government are institutions that cannot be trusted. I also learned how these institutions, which are the tools of the elite, are manipulated to the disadvantage of the environment and average worker. What I learned is that just about EVERYTHING in our soul-less society is aimed at maximum profit — at all costs — and infinite growth.
I learned that the “dumbing down” of America is an intentional act, designed to keep citizens from challenging the institutions that enslave them. I also learned about spiritual and cultural traditions are really designed to control and manipulate more than anything else. Most importantly, I learned that we are slaves to myths, lies, and engineered ignorance, all of which are leading to our demise.
The corporate-controlled media has turned everyone’s brains to mush with shallow pop culture and carefully spun news. The puppet masters have created just what they wanted — an unquestioning and easily manipulated society.
I urge you to challenge what you think is right and what you’ve always known. Step out of your comfortable world and take a look around you. Ask yourself WHY are we destroying the only planet we have. Ask yourself WHY humans continue to slaughter one another.
If you are satisfied with the way things are, then please leave now. However, if you want to break out of your little world — your enslavement — and start addressing the problems around you, I urge you to read on.
From the bottom of my heart, I urge you to do two things:
• Stop using materialism to fill the empty holes in your lives. Instead, focus on building relationships — with both your fellow humans and nature.
• Reconnect with the natural world. Stop thinking that you are apart or better than any other creature in nature, because you are not. Trust me.
Carbon emissions, human population, and animal extinctions are at an
all-time high. Our rabid consumption and irresponsible growth is destroying the very planet that sustains us. I’m afraid that if we don’t change our ways soon, well, we’ll all be GOOSED.
